Frequently Asked Questions

I gathered the answers to some popular questions below. If you can’t find your question, below feel free to contact me, and I’ll be happy to help.

Will you design a diet as well as an exercise routine for me?

Personal trainers cannot legally tell their clients what foods to eat or give meal plans as they are not degreed nutritionists and, it is against our “scope of practice” to give advice on specific supplements that our clients should take. However, what we can and will do is review the foundation of healthy nutrition and assist clients on tracking their nutrition through food logs to create awareness and accountability. We can help you make permanent lifestyle changes and behavior modifications which will allow you to “know thyself” and thus find success. If a client has complicated medical problems or health needs, they are often referred to a nutritionist for more in depth assistance.

What type of equipment do you have in your studio?

Treadmill, recumbent bike, bench, multifunctional full body home gym, stability balls, TRX suspension training, resistance bands, box steps, pull up bar, dumbbells, kettlebells, yoga mats, foam rollers, barbells, bosu ball, medicine ball, mini soft yoga/pilate balls.

You can join any of my classes online via Zoom. Reiki, Qigong, crystal healing sessions can also be done virtually.

Do I have to bring anything with me for a personal training sessions or group classes?

All you will need to bring is a yoga mat and a bottle of water.

What should I eat before and after a workout?

This can vary from one person to another, and it also depends on the program you chose to work with me, but in general, before a workout, aim for a combination of carbohydrates and protein for energy and muscle repair. Options include a banana with nut butter, yogurt with fruit, or a whole grain toast with avocado. After a workout, prioritize protein and carbs again to replenish glycogen stores and support muscle recovery. Examples include a protein shake with fruit, a chicken and veggie stir-fry with brown rice, or a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread.

I have never done strength training before, is it safe for me?

Strength Training is safe for
